FDB AnalyseRx’s role in Vertis Healthcare’s HSJ Digital Awards 2024 shortlist recognition
Following on from the successful rollout of FDB AnalyseRx in 2023, Vertis Health, a federation of GP surgeries and PCNs within Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICB, were shortlisted for an HSJ Digital Awards 2024 in the category of ‘Improving Primary Care through Digital’.
The team were shortlisted for their project ‘Using digital software to improve patient care in lipid management’ which saw them using FDB AnalyseRx to enhance how they identified and managed patients requiring lipid optimisation, which led to increased efficiencies, time saved on appointments, and improvements in Quality of Outcomes Framework (QOF) attainment.
FDB AnalyseRx helps primary care teams to proactively identify and easily action medicines optimisation opportunities across a patient population. Its standardised and collaborative approach supports NHS improvement and prevention plans, driving clinical excellence, cost savings and reducing ineffective medicines.
Vertis Health is a federation of GP surgeries and PCNs in Worcestershire, serving over 600,000 NHS patients through a variety of local services. It was relaunched in 2024, 11 years after its initial inception as South Worcestershire Healthcare in 2013.
The prestigious HSJ Digital Awards focus on the transformative power of technology across the NHS and celebrate the teams and projects driving results. The HSJ Digital Awards attracted over 300 entries in its first year, and the final winners for 2024 were announced at the award ceremony at in Manchester on Thursday 6th June.
