Career Development at FDB
Career Journey
I’ve had a fantastic career journey at FDB UK over the past 13 years, starting as a Clinical Researcher within Medknowledge, Multilex and OptimiseRx before progressing to the Integration team as a Product Analyst and now stepping into the role of Market Manager for Secondary Care. Each role has built on my knowledge and skills of our solutions. My passion for improving medicines safety and supporting our customers has led me to this role, where I can focus on driving innovation and ensuring our solutions continue to make a real difference in secondary care.
Transition Experience
The transition into my new role has already been really exciting and rewarding. It’s given me the opportunity to take a more strategic approach, working closely with teams across the business to shape how we support secondary care customers. I’ve enjoyed engaging more deeply with customers and industry partners, gaining valuable insights. It’s been amazing to step into a position where I can influence our market approach and contribute to FDB’s future growth.
Skills, Growth and Team Collaboration
This move is helping me develop a range of new skills while strengthening existing ones. I am already gaining a deeper understanding of market dynamics, product strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Working in this role will be an incredible learning experience, and I feel great about contributing to meaningful impact. The collaboration within the Product team has been fantastic. There’s a shared purpose and working alongside such talented colleagues has been inspiring. Everyone is passionate about delivering the best solutions for our customers, and that energy is infectious. The teamwork and open communication make it easy to bring ideas to life, and I feel lucky to be part of such a dynamic and supportive environment.
Customer Focus
Customers are at the heart of everything we do, and I love focusing on delivering real value to them. A great example of this has been working on how we position our medicines safety solutions to best support NHS trusts. It’s wonderful to be part of a company that is so committed to improving patient safety and supporting healthcare professionals in their work.
Future Goals
I’m excited about what’s ahead! I want to continue shaping how we support secondary care, driving innovation and ensuring our solutions align with the evolving needs of the NHS. I’m also keen to build stronger partnerships within the industry and explore new opportunities for collaboration. There’s so much potential to expand the impact we can have, and I’m looking forward to being part of that bigger picture.
